order fulfillment
Once the order is placed, a business day is needed for e-commerce approval and the arrival of merchandise may be the next 4 to 10 business days - this applies to messenger
deliveries as well. Pookie & Sebastian can't always guarantee availability of products. If you
have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you of the situation
via email. Standard delivery orders will be shipped via United Parcel Service. You will receive an
email with the UPS tracking number and expected date of delivery.

The chart below shows our delivery rates within the United States (sorry, we do not ship to PO
boxes). For delivery outside the United States, please contact our customer service department with
your inquiries. *Rates may change without notice.

Messenger Service is available in Manhattan, NY for a flat $25 per order.
Someone must be available at this address to accept your delivery Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm.

Per federal law, we are required to collect tax in all states where a Pookie & Sebastian
store is located.

Our system will not allow you to purchase items out of stock, however, we do encourage you to
send us an email of indicating items of interest. Our on-line endeavor is a new adventure for the
staff at Pookie, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work thru our technical
difficulties. Please let us know how it’s going, your input is most welcome and your ideas are always
valued.
merchandise shipped
You will receive two emails after your order has been place: The first confirms that your order
was received and accepted and the second confirms that your order was shipped and will be
accompanied with a UPS tracking number.
tracking your order
A tracking number will be sent to you with the second email that your order has been shipped. To
check the status of your order please visit www.ups.com and enter
your tracking number. Please note: Orders placed will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days after
receiving.
Returns
return policy
Accessories, "Special Occassion" tops and dresses, and sale merchandise are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Exchange requests or returns are accepted for FULL-PRICED merchandise only. Exchanges are accepted for a different size, color or item. Returns are good for the issuance of web store credit only. No refunds will be made to the credit card for any return. No exceptions will be made to our return policy.
To receive web store credit (only to be used on online purchases through http://www.pookieandsebastian.com ), please follow our policy guidelines.
Merchandise must be returned within 14 days of issued Return Authorization Number. The Return Authorization Number must appear on the exterior of each shipping carton.
Merchandise must be in original condition, tags attached and accompanied by original sales receipt.
Items must be received back into our warehouse within the time specified.
Web store credit is valid for 1 year from date of issue and can only be used on the website (not redeemable at store locations).
We do not provide credit card refunds. Store credits and gift certificates cannot be redeemed for credit card credit or replaced if lost or stolen. All of our goods are first quality and carefully inspected prior to shipping. Sequin and
bead attachments on some of our garments are very fragile and we are not responsible for damages
after the purchase, these items are final sale and cannot be returned. A return authorization number
does not guarantee automatic approval/credit of your return. Items are subject to inspection and
approval upon receipt to our warehouse. Overdue merchandise will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Items purchased online may not be returned to Pookie & Sebastian retail locations. On-line
purchases must be directly shipped to our warehouse.
how to return an item
1. Submit a request: go to Request A Return Authorization
2. Complete the Return Form: you will receive an email response within 1-2 working days.
3. Pack Your Return: Wrap your item carefully in a box and enclose the bottom portion of the packing slip with your return. Please include the print out of the Return Authorization number, your name, address, phone number, email address, receipt and reason for return.
4. Ship Your Return: Complete and attach the enclosed return label Please write the RA# clearly on the face of the package. We suggest writing in block letters 3 inches high. For your protection we
strongly recommend that items are returned in a manner requiring a signature. Shipping and handling charges are
non-refundable and reimbursement of shipping is not provided. Returns which are received after 14
days from date of original shipping will not be credited. We do reserve the right to subject overdue
returns to a 50% restocking fee if item is accepted and in saleable condition. Shipping and handling
on returned merchandise is non-refundable.
web store credit
We will send you your web credit via email once your return has been processed. You should
expect the email within 3-10 business days after we have received
your return. The store credit will only apply to the cost and tax of the items.
helpful advice sending your return
Pookie recommends you track your returns so that you may confirm we have received your package. The
U.S. Post Office offers delivery confirmation for a nominal fee. Also, you may consider insuring
your return. If you elect to use another carrier to ship your return, we recommend you use a carrier
such as UPS, FedEx or DHL that provides tracking information. All packages must be sent pre-paid and
we recommend insured. COD packages will not be accepted.
